The Ethical Committee will review Research proposals in light of ethical and social acceptance.

Research Grant Committee

Research Grant Committee will comprise of the following members

Head of Department of Community Medicine
Director Finance

Co-opted Members
Member of Public Health
Technical member from related field (Medicine and Allied/ Surgery and Allied)
Any other member by the consent of the Principal
(a minimal of two external members will be present)

The Research Grant Committee will be responsible for analysis of structure, methodology and analytic power and statistical review of the research proposals presented.
Any problems with the research proposals will have to be cleared with the Research Grant Committee before being presented to the finance section.

Research Facilitation Committee

Research Facilitation Committee comprises of the following members:

Services Institute of Medical Sciences

Statistical Officer
Services Institute of Medical Sciences

External Member
From Institute of Public Health

Secretary Research
Services Institute of Medical Sciences

Research Facilitation Committee will help and guide researchers, if needed, with their research proposals. Repeated reviews may be carried out between June and August
