This is following the discussion I had with the Final Year students on Saturday 07.05.11.
For those of you interested in the ongoing projects, please leave your names and roll numbers on this blog site along with the title of project of interest. Please keep in mind that a maximum of 4 students can be accommodated per project.

If you have any bright ideas of your own regarding research, please let me know. Students are encouraged to come up with their own projects, keeping in mind the fact that we wont be able to fund them. I would encourage students to carry out audits during their clinical rotation

    my name is Salman Zaheer. my roll no is 133 .i am a final year student. i would like to participate in the following project whenever the research work will start on this topic.

    Topic: A cost effective analysis of NOTES and laproscopic surger for cholecystectomies. A randomized control trial.

    My specific interest in this topic is due to my craving for surgery. I am interested in pursuing a career in academic and clinical surgery after graduation from my medical school. Working on this project will give me valuable exposure to cutting edge research that will help me later on as I attempt to achieve my goal.
